Kathryn Borg

I am a ceramic artist based in Willington, Derbyshire. My work is concentrated on functional forms and are inspired by the natural world. Using a variety of ceramic handbuilding techniques including pinching, coiling and slabbing, I enjoy creating organic forms by taking elements from structure, colours, patterns in flora and fauna. I want my pieces to be functional, but also aesthetically pleasing so use complimentary glazes and different coloured clays to achieve this.
