The Trail in 2022
A big thank you to the visitors who visited the Arts Trail on our inaugural weekend. The feedback was amazing and visitors, artists and the village have all voted the trail as a resounding success. There was the odd hiccup but for a first event everyone pulled together to make things happen. There have been so many kind words from visitors and artists. The comments have been predominantly about the quality of the art which has been incredible, the friendliness of the village with its homes, spaces and gardens and not least the buses with their amazing bus drivers. Again a big thank you to everyone who made this happen and supported it and of course our two major sponsors DDDC and Longcliffe community fund.
Was it the art, the music, the fantastic Bonsall welcome, the pubs, the workshops, the bus drivers, the excellent range of vegetarian and vegan food, the burgers, the chance to visit the 15th century manor, or just a great day out?
Who knows, but let’s see what the visitors said:
‘We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the arts trail. Thank you for organising it. The village had a real buzz, the art, food and music were awesome and the organisation really good – the buses were a genius stroke. As residents we are really hoping it will be an annual event though appreciate you’ll probably have to start organising the next one tomorrow!’
